God is Great

We read Uzziah today.

When he began to reign he was 16. He prospered and made his land prosper.

One day Uzziah allowed pride to take over and that was messy. In one day he ruined a 52 year old reign.

You see, one should know the truth. God wants us to have a real true intimate relationship with God.

The year Uzziah died, Isaiah sees God's glory. He saw that God's glory was more important than his own.

The word Lord cones from another word. Adonay which means sovereignty and headship.

We have to see the world as Isaiah saw it. We belong to Jesus, we belong to God.

God is reigning and ruling. God was and He is in charge.

And the anointing makes a difference.  All the time.

Sometimes all we need is God's presence filling us. Seek that and you shall find it!

For God is holy and holy is the way God is!

Isaiah saw the Lord as the Lord of Hosts. For He is geater than anything that can come against us.

God is good!

God bless you!

What I learned today at the Bible study:

What I learned today at the Bible study:

Romans 15

1) God gives us grace.

2) Paul was the boldest disciple. And we must follow his example.

3) Stay faithful.

4) Sometimes you believe in God but don't know Him.

5) The High Priest is Jesus.

6) The Gospel is from the Holy Spirit.

7) We are a living sacrifice onto God. Sacrifice of praise to God.

8) Paul wasn't just talking the word, he was living the word and that's what we must do.

9) We gotta believe in miracles because they are real!

10) Whatever happens in a congregation must be guided by the Holy Spirit. That only happens when the congregation is committed with Christ Jesus, living the word.

11) Paul's aim was to preach the gospel.

12) Paul means converted.

That's it for tonight

God bless you all!

What I learned today in church

This morning I learned some important things and I want to share.

1) Psalm 118 is about success!

2) God wants us to be prosperous. God wants us to succeed.

3) We must pray: Lord, send success to my life.

4) God wants to enable us to be a blessing to others!

5) Get a song to the Lord! He will encourage you and lead you to victory!

6) Prosperity is when you are seeking out to the Lord!

7) Genesis 39 talks about success and prosperity.

8) Joshua 1 talks about success and prosperity.

9) III John talks about success and prosperity.

10) Romans talks about success and prosperity.

11) Many times God has us go through some tough times in life. He always has a porpouse for each one of us.

12) When reaching success you have to have a leap of faith.

13) When reaching success you have to keep going.

14) Contrary winds makes us grow and stronger.

15) Even in the will of God sometimes things go slowly. We must persist!

16) One fair haven doesn't mean you've reached your goal.

17) There is always something new that God wants to show us.

18) Sometimes we are not ready but God gets us ready.

19) In this life sometimes we have to throw things or people off our boat.

20) Keep holding God's unchanging hand!

21) God will keep you towards success! Just keep going!

22) We gotta be single minded focused!

23) The journey is not easy but God will take you to your destination.

24) When you are in a storm you must surrender yourself with the right people.

25) We've got peace with God!

God bless you always!

Today's learning from God

Dear reader,

Today in the service at Christ Church in Palm Harbor Pastor Joe preached powerfully and here's what I take with me. Here's what I understand.

1) We've got an advantage over the unredeemed for God has redeemed us and God orchestrates us for us to reign in life. To thrive in life.

2) What's God's purpose? you'll find it in the Bible. read it!

3) We need to stay spiritually fit. Again, read the Bible. 1 hour every day.

4) Commitment, faithfulness, relationships with people. Start today.

5) God sees things we don't see. God chooses people according to his vision and purpose.

6) David was learning responsibility when he was taking care of the sheep. God wants people that are responsible.

7) We choose to keep God's anointing. God will anoint you but it is your decision to keep it or not. That's what happened to Saul when he let his jealousy of David grow in his heart. He chose to not keep God's anointing. David, on the other hand, was anointed by God and he kept his anointing. David is considered the greatest king, a man according to God's heart.

8) We have to be under God's authority.

9) Fear is like a goliath. We don't have to live in fear. Because we are with God.

That's what I learned and that's what I recommend you to follow.

God bless you and have a great day!

Key quote: Love and Life

"Live in the world as if only God and your soul were in it; then your heart will never be made captive by any earthly thing." — John of the Cross

The Bible does tells us a lot about life and how to live.

The Bible also describes God as love. And that's how we should live. Simply because love pushes us beyond, love makes us achieve our dreams and start actually living! Love conquers fear!

So, my advice is this: put your dreams on a paper, set a deadline and leap into love to teach it!

Have a blessed day!

Love,
Antonio

Key quote

Imagine you have to go from Los Angeles to New York at night. And the only electricity you have access to is the light in your car. And if you don't go at night, tonight, you will die.

Now I believe there are two ways of taking this trip.

The first is of course wait until daylight. A nice time, when you can see better, there are no clouds, the sun is shining and everything is beautiful. The problem with this option is that there are no guarantee whatsoever that the following day is going to be a good day, plus you'd be dead. So, basically instead of living, you waited on life. Not the smartest choice. God gave you a life for a reason: to live it fully.

Now, waiting is an interesting choice mainly because it is the safest one. It is also based on fear. You will die though.

At this point you must be thinking that choosing to travel at night is going to cause you to live. And yes, that's what is going to happen.

You see, when the car is going in the dark and all you can see is a couple of feet ahead, you are actually exercising your faith as you have a destination which is New York. And the most important part here is of course the journey, not so much the destination. Plus you aquire experience on the way.

This is my idea and below is the quote.

"All growth is a leap in the dark, a spontaneous unpremeditated act without benefit of experience."

~Henry Miller

Key quote

"Never reject an idea, dream or goal because it will be hard work. Success rarely comes without it." Bob Proctor - Author and Speaker

This is very interesting. And makes me think about jobs and work.

You see, the easiest choice is not always the best one, or at least the most secure one. And yes, I mean financially.

Think about it. You have a job, let's say you are a full time cashier at a supermarket. You will earn a wage at the end of the week or month. And this is easy, it is simple. Same goes if you are an engineer at a large corporation.

So, how many sources of income do you have here?

Well if you have just a job you will probably have one.

Now let's see the supermarket owner. He is a person just like you and maybe his skills are not of a graduate but, how many different products from different brands from different suppliers does he sell? How many sources of income does he have?

So, who do you think risks more?

And which one needs more hard work?

So here's a big question: how many sources of income do you have?

Key quote

Hi there dear readers!

I read this quote today and I wanna share it with you.

It seems Henry Food was into coaching.

What's your big plan? Decide on your goal and clearly state it. And write it down! And split it into milestone. Remember that your dream is only a mile away.

Think about it and let me know your remarks.

Here's the quote:

Nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs.

Feb 20, 2015 Book Club

The Book Club of today was very special as we learned so much.

First of all we started with an inspirational video that talked about seeing life as one big opportunity, fear as an option and pain being temporary.

In my opinion there are two questions that are important to consider here. Number one is: Who am I?

This is a decisive question in understanding ourselves which is a start point.

The second question to be considered is: Who do I want to be?

And this second question is about the future and, thus, the end result in our own lives but more than that, it is also about the plan that we have to get to that place we want to be.

The books we talked about today were The Prisoner of Zenda by Anthony Hope which tells the story of Rudolph, who is very similar in appearance to a to be king in a far away land that falls in love with the promised wife for the actual king. It is a story about people, envy, love and moral.

The other book we talked about is the book called Seeing Jesus by Jeffrey McCain Jones. It tells the story of Philly who has an ordinary life living with ordinary people and is, one day, touched by Jesus and he allows himself to be taught and guided by Jesus, thus starting to live an extraordinary life.

In my opinion Jeffrey describes Jesus presence in our livers in a brilliant way. Jesus is accessible and all we have to do is to allow ourselves to listen to Him.

Have a blessed day and see you next time!

God wants to bless you in ALL things.

Today Pastor Joe talked about drawing a line in sin, that we need a fresh anointing.

He talked about Abraham. He lived in reality. He knew the reality straight from God as he heard the voice of God. He talked to Him and obeyed Him. Through that relationship with God, Abraham was able to overcome his enemies and was saved by God because he was a righteous man.

I personally want to live this reality that Abraham lived. But it is funny because we cannot live Abraham's reality through Abraham. We must live through our own lives.

Pastor Joe talked about a personal encounter with God.

Abraham had this and he was blessed by God in ALL things. He was a friend of God.

Don't you want to be a friend of God as well?

Abraham knew that he was part of something big. He was part of God's plan. It is big.

Pastor Joe also talked about the second and third generation after Abraham, who was the first generation. He talked about the lives and attitudes of those people from the 2nd and 3rd generations and how Jacob met God later in his life.

I highly and humbly and lovingly suggest you to seek God and meet Him. And I also invite you to come and visit Christ Church in Palm Harbor. You can do it through this link every Sunday at 10:40am or in person at their physical address which you can find in their website by clicking here.

May God bless your life today as He did Abraham's in the past.

Letter of God

The words you are about to experience are true. They will change your life if you let them, for they come from the very heart of God...

He loves you... And HE is the father you have been looking for all your life... This is His love letter... to you...

My Child,
You may not know me,
but I know everything
about you.

90 minutes in Heaven by Don Piper with Cecil Murphy

I have read the book 90 minutes in Heaven and in my opinion it is a remarkable book and a MUST read!

It tells the life story of Don Piper, who has been an ordained minister since 1985, writes a weekly newspaper and column, leads conferences and retreats in the USA and abroad, right after his accident which made him face two weeks in ICU, a year in a hospital bed, and 34 operations.

The People of a Victorious Church

 Christ Church in Palm Harbor

Last week Pastor Joe taught us about the characteristics of a victorious church. And today he taught us on the people that make a victorious church.

Pastor Joe preaches at Christ Church in the city of Palm Harbor, Florida. You can follow his service at www.christchurchpalmharbor.com/Live_Stream.html

Today, as I started this post, Pastor Joe taught us on the people that make a victorious church. About their character.

The Cowboy's Christmas Plan (Book 1)

Today I am writing about a book I have just finished reading.

And it is the love story of Trey and Cadence in the small town of Grass Valley.

It is a fantastic read in my opinion. The story starts with Cadence moving from the big city, working for a big law firm and engaged to a very small town in the middle of nowhere. The sudden change of life was due to a bad relationship that she had with her fiancé that abandoned her on the wedding day.

The Habits of Highly Emotionally Intelligent People

Intelligence is a crucial factor for humans as it will help us a lot in the process of development.
Something that can be a little more important than that is regarding our emotions!

People that are highly emotionally intelligent tend to have some pretty interesting habits. In my opinion we should all practice these.

First of all highly emotionally people focus on the positive. Remember that story of the glass, half empty or half full? Well, every story has a positive side. Just ask yourself: What is positive about this situation I am living in right now? Or what positive things happened today? Or how positive was my spouse's day?

You can play with all this positiveness and actually have a conversation about it. And yes, by having a conversation with someone about positive things you will affect your surroundings with positive ideas and feelings. You'll be happier! Think about it.

Next, highly emotionally people surround themselves with positive people. It is the law of attraction. You become positive, you look for positive people, positive people start popping up. Tell me who you walk with and I will tell you who you are. I think it is something like that.

After that, of course, highly emotionally people are able to set boundaries and be assertive when necessary. Now, let's consider this topic a little bit and think how we can put this into practice so that we can have a clear picture of these words.

You know that time when you were overworking and doing more things that your could possibly (humanly) do and your boss ask you to take over another important project for him. Now, highly emotionally people will know how to say no in these cases. And you? Can you think of another situation that illustrates this point? Write on the comments below please.

Highly emotional people are focused on the future and are quick to let go of the past. They actually like and enjoy living in the present. Which reminds me of leaving a special quote from Donald Trump with you dear readers:

I try to learn from the past, but I plan for the future by focusing exclusively on the present. That's where the fun is.

So, remember to make your life more fun, happy and interesting.

And please share your ideas on the comments about what you are doing that is highly emotionally intelligent.

Thanks and until next time!

Have a blessed day!

GOOD NEWS! About punctuality

Hi there everyone!

How much time do we have?

That's a classical question with, in my view, one good answer to it: NOT MUCH.

Well, there are several people that value time. They are called punctual.

And they are punctual because they know how long things take. They are punctual because they are at their appointments early, they are organized and they use those 5 to 10 extra minutes for their appointment wisely.

What about you? What have you been doing with your time lately?

What is your idea of better managing your time? Contribute! Post in the comments bellow.

Thanks and have a wise time!

Decision Oriented Continuous Planning.

Dear Readers!

I do hope you are doing very well today!

This post is for those that want to achieve better results in business.

Decision Oriented Continuous Planning. And the key word here is continuous.

By having a continuous planning instead of an annual one, you can enjoy several advantages:

  1. You can identify strategic priorities;
  2. Form work groups that prepare strategic and financial information necessary to discover and evaluate financial and strategic alternatives for each matter;
  3. The executive committee takes part in 2 sessions:
    1. The first has the objective of reaching an agreement from the facts and viable alternatives;
    2. The second session has the objective of evaluating the alternatives and selection of the best course of action;
  4. Once the matter is solved and the decision is made, next matter.
  5. Every time a decision is reached, the budget and capital investment plans for the business units are updated .
My inspiration for such simple ideas of management come from the knowledge and research of Michael C. Mankins and Richard Steele.

Needing more clarification or maybe you'd like me to help you implement such technique in you business do not hesitate in contacting me. Send me a comment or an e-mail. I will be very happy to share my knowledge and expertise with you.

By the way, my e-mail is antonio.marsari(at)gmail.com. Please substitute the (at) for @.

Thanks and have yourself a blessed day!
